Background information:
Pilgrim Church is an established church based in Airdrie, Lanarkshire. They required a web presence to provide information on their history, service times, beliefs and other news.
Design summary:
The website design shows the strong foundation the church has in the bible and prayer. The colour palette was chosen to demonstrate a long history while being warm and welcoming. The red also ties in with the traditional colours for the local area.
As this was the churches first foray in producing a website the initial design was just for the homepage. However, flexibility was built in to the design to allow it to grow as more information is published.

In addition to the design and development of the website, the project involved the development of a full identity that included a new logo and colour scheme.
The website was hand-coded to current web standards using compliant XHTML and CSS. These standards guarantee that the website will display properly in a range of common web browsers while being ready for future web advances. They also provide a foundation to the website meeting accessibility and search engine requirements. Additional work was completed in both these areas to make sure the website was easy to find and use by all users.
